A modern terminal text editor

Helix is a terminal text editor inspired by Kakoune and Neovim, adopting the modal editing paradigm. It focuses on working out of the box with modern builtin features that compose well together, and having multiple cursors as a core editing primitive. Features like per language auto-completion, compiler error display, symbols, indent guides, git gutters, syntax aware editing operations, etc that have become ubiquitous in modern GUI editors have first class support in Helix.

The project is hosted on GitHub, and the preferred communication channel is Matrix.
