What We Fund
We offer grants to people and organizations building and using Free and Open Source Software for public good in India. We offer grants in following categories:
FOSS Technology: Development of Free & Open Source Software projects.
FOSS Education: Running workshops, designing curriculum, building FOSS tools and systems to further FOSS in education.
FOSS Community: Using FOSS technologies for social good, defending online freedom and privacy.
Eligibility
Any person or organization building FOSS technologies or using FOSS for social good in India can apply. The applicant must have an Indian Bank account to receive the grant.
How to Apply
Please submit the grant proposals by submitting the application form.
Selection Process
The FOSS United team will meet and review the grants proposals once every month and announce the allocated grants in the first week of the next month.
