A browser extension that suggests better/ethical/local/cheaper alternative products & services than your current tab's URL.
RepositoryThis extension looks at your current URL, and recommends "better" product/service alternatives via an in-page pop-up. "Better" could mean ethical / privacy-conscious / secure / local / cheaper / high-quality etc.
The idea is to encourage competition and consumer choice in a user-friendly way. Our default list of alternatives is built from sources like switching.software and prism-break.org/en
We're looking to add new features and get more exposure to the project, if you're interested feel free to join in!

Our demo video has been added to the README (at 7:59pm hahaha) check it out!
Unfortunately, the latest features of the extension are not yet live on the Firefox/Chrome stores, but the video explains it all! And you can always load it manually and try it out.
