Jigyasu Krishnan is an active contributor to the projects in the open-source data science and scientific computing ecosystem. He has been contributing to sktime since mid 2024 and has been a mentee first and is currently contributing to sktime as a European Summer of Code contributor, where he is working on improving the toolkit's benchmarking infrastructure and extending it to other estimators than forecasters and is actively involved in design decisions and brainstorming sessions. Previously, he has also contributed minorly to SciPy, scikit-image, and OSL's Rago.

Jigyasu is an undergraduate at the National Institute of Technology, Agartala, with an interest in intelligent systems and open-source software. He also brings research experience from his time at the Artificial Intelligence Institute of the University of South Carolina (AIISC), where he worked on watermarking models for LLM-generated content.
