IndiaFOSS 2026 Devroom

Cloud & DevOps

Call for Proposals

Modern production runs on FOSS. Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Terraform/OpenTofu, ArgoCD, Linkerd, Backstage, etcd, containerd - the entire stack underneath “the cloud” is open source.

This devroom is for the people who build, run, contribute to, and depend on that stack. We want talks that share what actually happens in production: the migration stories, the upstream patches, the 3 AM postmortems. Less “hello world” and more “here’s what we learned when it broke.” If your work involves running infrastructure at any scale - from a homelab cluster to a national-scale platform, this room is for you.

Scope of Sessions

Please submit proposals focused on cloud native technologies, DevOps / SRE / platform engineering practices, or the FOSS projects that make them work. Real world user stories are most welcome. Vendor pitches and product marketing are out of scope.

Selection / Review

What we are looking for:

  1. Real production stories - including failures, postmortems, and hard-won lessons
  2. Platform engineering and SRE practices grounded in actual operational experience
  3. Deep technical dives into specific FOSS tools or architectures
  4. Meta talks on the state of cloud native and DevOps in India
  5. All other proposals

Session Types

The default format is a 10-minute talk followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. In exceptional cases, we will accept 20-minute talks with 5 minutes of Q&A. If you’re proposing the longer slot, please justify the same.

Please submit proposals for this devroom using the link below. Ensure that you select “Cloud & DevOps” as the track.
