Ready to unlock the world of open source?
Hacktoberfest Unlocked is an online session organized by the FOSS United UIT Chapter to help students explore Hacktoberfest and take their first steps into open-source contribution.
The session will introduce participants to the fundamentals of open source, guide them through finding beginner-friendly repositories, understanding issues, and using Git and GitHub to contribute to real-world projects. Participants will also learn about the contribution workflow, pull requests, common mistakes to avoid, and ways to become an active part of the open-source community.
Whether you're a complete beginner or someone looking to take your first step beyond coding projects, this session will help you get started with confidence.
It's time to explore, collaborate, contribute, and unlock new opportunities in open source!
