Session Description
My Face Recognition Attendance System is an advanced AI-driven solution I developed to streamline attendance tracking for schools, offices, and events. I built it using Python, OpenCV, Haar Cascade Classifier, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and Tkinter for the user interface, allowing me to automate the attendance process with high accuracy by recognizing faces in real-time.
The system captures face samples, which are analyzed to create a unique model for each individual. Once set up, it accurately identifies individuals, records their attendance, and stores it in a SQL database. Additionally, I included an option to export attendance data to Excel for convenient record-keeping. This robust system is efficient in speed and accuracy and offers a scalable solution for various environments where attendance tracking is essential.
