Building Your First Open-Source Android Library: A Hands-On Workshop

Approved
Session Description

In this, participants will learn to create, document, and publish their very own open-source Android library. The session will start with a brief introduction to the importance of open-source libraries in the Android development ecosystem, followed by a step-by-step guide on selecting the right idea, setting up the project, writing clean and reusable code and testing the library.

Participants will then be guided through the process of documenting/commenting their library to make it accessible to the community, before moving on to the hands-on portion of the workshop where they will publish their library to GitHub. The session will conclude with tips on maintaining and growing their open-source projects, ensuring that participants leave with the knowledge and confidence to contribute valuable tools to the Android developer community.

Looks like a good hands on session, don't know how long the session would be tho. I will let organizers decide. Approving

Not sure if this is fine to be accepted, but this will take more time with the setups and stuff and not sure if anything fruitful would come out of this proposal. Leaving the decision on the organizers.
