Session Description

The workshop demonstrates installation and usage of MAT2, a CLI-based metadata sanitization tool for enhancement of privacy by removal of quasi-identifiers from different file formats right from sending to external services, which might use it for user profiling and surveillance. The workshop also covers usage of web interface for different platforms without any installation.

Pre-requisites

Participants are expected to have Python 3.5 and above on their system for following up with installation along with the dependencies for the CLI tool. For easier installation of the dependencies, usage of any Linux distribution or macOS is recommended.
