BiharFOSS 2025 is happening on March 22nd at IIT Patna. This scholarship is intended for students from Bihar who wish to attend the BiharFOSS Conference 2025, an event to dive deep into the world of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and network with fellow enthusiasts.

The deadline for submitting applications is March 15th 2025.

Applications will be evaluated based on your GitHub/GitLab profile, bio, motivation, and the genuineness of the remaining fields. Please ensure you do not use ChatGPT or any other GenAI tool to generate content. Applications generated in this manner will be rejected immediately. You may use such tools for grammar fixes.

Unfortunately, this application is meant for students studying in Bihar. If you are from outside Bihar, please purchase a ticket to attend.

  1. Free conference entry worth ₹150
  2. Reimbursement for bus/train travel tickets up to ₹1000
    • Total financial support up to ₹1150.
    • Please note that travel support is reimbursement-based, meaning you need to submit the train/bus ticket/invoice with the price mentioned after the conference to receive reimbursement.

Sorry, We won't be able to reimburse the money unless you attend the conference.

Unfortunately, we have a limited number of scholarship slots, so we may have to reject your application even if it is strong. However, you can still apply for our <FOSS Club application> and avail future scholarships to attend other FOSS conferences like <IndiaFOSS> and <DelhiFOSS>.

Please note that this scholarship is limited to a maximum of 2 students per engineering/diploma college.
