Odin: A code execution engine with minimal configuration and management

Rejected

In this session I will introduce Odin a code execution engine built on top of the nix package manager, it uses concepts such as overlay filesystems, shared nix store and nix scripts to allow users to create highly reproducible code execution environments with minimal configuration. I will give a brief overlay how Odin works and how I use postgres as a task queue to distribute tasks across workers and I will also demo our website which supports code execution in more than 15+ languages with language dependency support for some of them.

To conclude, I’ll provide a live demo of Odin executing code generated by a Large Language Model (LLM). This demonstration will showcase Odin’s ability to dynamically handle generated code across multiple languages, highlighting its adaptability.

For now the Odin project is in the valkyrie repository but I are actively working towards changing it: https://github.com/deepakdinesh1123/valkyrie
