Blender is a very powerful 3D modelling and animation software. You can create static shots and even full blown films. This year's Oscar winning animation film was made in Blender. That's how powerful it is.

And all that power comes Free and Open Source!

It's super easy to learn. In fact you can just spend about an hour or two, grasp the basics and start creating astonishing 3D environments.

In this talk, I want to quickly share my journey of learning Blender through few of my projects. I'll share the resources and the geeks who I learned from.

In the past few weeks, I conducted two workshops on Zoom for just a couple of hours and helped teens quickly hop on the Blender ride. That's how easy it is!

I was looking for tools to help me create visuals for the stories I wanted to tell, that's when I discovered Blender when I was 11. I have since been enjoying the learning journey, while at the same time creating stuff with it and also helping others get started with Blender.
