Blender is a very powerful 3D modelling and animation software. You can create static shots and even full blown films. This year's Oscar winning animation film was made in Blender. That's how powerful it is.
And all that power comes Free and Open Source!
It's super easy to learn. In fact you can just spend about an hour or two, grasp the basics and start creating astonishing 3D environments.
In this talk, I want to quickly share my journey of learning Blender through few of my projects. I'll share the resources and the geeks who I learned from.
In the past few weeks, I conducted two workshops on Zoom for just a couple of hours and helped teens quickly hop on the Blender ride. That's how easy it is!

Flow movie won big, and it was created using FOSS, and even the water effects in the movie were created as a plugin and also open-sourced. At this time such talks may bring in more enthusiasts towards this.
