SAQUIB AKHTAR
About
I am a Linux Architect with hands-on experience building, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise Linux platforms. My work spans high-availability clustering (Pacemaker, Veritas, HPE Serviceguard), centralized identity management (FreeIPA, LDAP, 389DS), and scalable monitoring with Zabbix, including service-aware and log-based monitoring in clustered setups. I specialize in deep Linux troubleshooting and root cause analysis, covering kernel, networking, SELinux, and performance issues across RHEL, SLES, and Oracle Linux. My background also includes virtualization and cloud infrastructure (VMware, oVirt/RHEV, OpenStack), Docker-based workloads, and automation using Bash and Ansible to deliver reliable, repeatable systems at scale, while actively contributing to and engaging with the open-source and internet operations community.
