I’m Mahesh Solanke, a Python Backend Engineer with around 5 years of experience building backend systems, APIs, automation workflows, and developer tools.

I primarily work with Python, FastAPI, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, and REST APIs. I enjoy solving backend engineering problems around performance, reliability, observability, and clean developer experience.

I’m currently building DevTrack, an open-source API observability SDK for FastAPI and Django. DevTrack helps developers track API usage, latency, errors, traffic trends, and request logs with minimal setup. The goal is to make API monitoring simple, lightweight, and accessible for developers without requiring complex infrastructure.

Apart from work, I’m interested in open source, developer tooling, backend architecture, API analytics, and sharing practical learnings from real-world engineering.
