I lead iSRL (Interdisciplinary Systems Research Lab) — an open research lab building the data infrastructure that lets experts ask questions Indian food systems couldn't answer before. It is an open lab, process and outputs are open and everyone is welcome to contribute.

Our 2026 focus is the Indian Food Informatics Data (IFID) project: a coordination layer for India's food systems that organises thousands of diverse regional ingredient expressions into functional, interoperable categories without erasing the cultural identity behind them.

Exclusive for anyone who ever questioned my sanity - here you go is my live workshop to see what I am working on.

My digital life started with a book blog in 2021, which led to publisher collaborations, freelance marketing, mental health advocacy work, and eventually a deep interest in how systems are built and whether they actually hold up to the complexity of real life.

I’m currently a BS Data Science and Applications student at IIT Madras. I care about open access, honesty in documentation, community, and balance — including the kind that “hustle culture” tends to make you feel guilty about.

You are amazing and I am so glad you exist, you are so inherently worthy of all love and goodness regardless of anything you could ever do or don’t :>

Outside the lab: reading, and trying to sleep at reasonable hours.
