I am a third-year B.Tech student passionate about building practical software solutions and improving user experience through clean, distraction-free interfaces. As part of my journey in full-stack development, I am building FloxenStudyHours, a live deployed web platform designed for focused online learning.
FloxenStudyHours helps students watch YouTube lecture videos in a distraction-free environment — without ads, side feeds, or recommendations. It displays the selected YouTube video in a clean interface with full-screen mode enabled, allowing users to concentrate completely on their studies. The platform also provides the original YouTube link for reference and direct access.
The project is actively deployed and accessible to users, reflecting my focus on not just building features but also taking projects through deployment and real-world usability.
During FOSS Hack 2026, I plan to enhance FloxenStudyHours in the following ways:
Introduce a premium feature for users who want access to specially curated playlist collections
Enable exclusive study sets and advanced playback options
Integrate a Gmail-based notification system to send:
Playlist updates
Study reminders
Content notifications
Improve UI/UX and personalization
Implement structured authentication and subscription handling
Strengthen documentation for open-source contribution
Prepare the project for scalable growth
