Call for Participation

After a successful run at IndiaFOSS 2025, the AOSP devroom returns for IndiaFOSS 2026 edition as well.

Like last year, we are calling the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) developers, hobbyists, engineers, and tinkerers to share their insights, experiences, and innovations around Android with the community. This devroom is being organized in collaboration with the AOSP Developers Community,  an open community focused on Android platform development, upstream collaboration and knowledge sharing around AOSP and related open-source technologies.

Whether you're deep in the internals of the Android framework or just getting started with your first port, we welcome talks that span the wide spectrum of AOSP development. This devroom is designed to be inclusive for both newcomers and seasoned contributors.

Talk Formats

Session proposals may be

1. Lightning Talk: 10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A
2. Standard Session: 20 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A
