IndiaFOSS 2025 video (and livestream) was an interesting experiment: a pro vendor shot the main track and volunteers did the devrooms. Much work went into the devrooms - 3 main volunteers worked on the software and hardware, and many many more student volunteers helped out during the event itself. There were many learnings from this, most of which is documented in this forum post.
Long story short, this hack is basically about everything we can do to make video shooting, and post processing as reliable and painless as possible. There are many things that can be bone, building upon last year's work. We can shoot in 4K this time for better quality and post processing options. We really have to fix the audio this time - maybe time to get in some more hardware for this... the FOSSdem audio board may need to be extended to fix this! Finally, it would be really nice to have the devroom folks help out with video editing (after the event). It would be cool to have "AI" decide some of the cuts to make it easier to do a good job.
