Real-time ground water resource evaluation using DWLR-dataset

Description

Real-Time Groundwater Resource Evaluation Using DWLR Data is a software platform that leverages live data from 5,260 Digital Water Level Recorder (DWLR) stations deployed across India by the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) to monitor and evaluate groundwater resources in real time.

The platform ingests high-frequency water level readings from these stations and processes them to analyze water level fluctuations, estimate groundwater recharge dynamically, and identify critical or over-exploited zones before they reach irreversible depletion. Through an intuitive mobile and web application, users can visualize live station data on an interactive map, track historical trends, receive early warning alerts when levels cross critical thresholds, and access district and state-level groundwater health summaries.

The goal is to transform raw sensor data into actionable intelligence — empowering water resource managers, policymakers, and communities to make informed decisions and sustainably manage one of India's most vital natural resources.
