This project focuses on developing a deep learning-based solution for colorizing Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images. SAR images are typically captured in grayscale and lack visual information such as colors, which are crucial for better interpretation and analysis. The primary goal of this project is to create a novel deep learning model that can transform grayscale SAR imagery into realistic, color-enhanced versions while preserving the structural and textural details. This model will be really helpful in improving the visual interpretability of SAR images for non-expert users and will enable easier identification of features like land cover, water bodies, vegetation, and urban areas.
