Smart Drone Control: Seamless Flight & Mission Planning

Contribution Project

This project focuses on improving mission planning and the user experience in QGroundControl. The goal is to make autonomous flight planning more intuitive and accessible, particularly for mobile users. Problem to be Solved QGroundControl’s current mission planning interface can be complex for new users, and its mobile usability needs improvement. And to enhance the overall efficiency and usability of QGroundControl for drone operators/ missions.

Description

QGroundControl (QGC) is an open-source ground control station (GCS) software for UAVs, supporting multiple flight control systems such as PX4 and ArduPilot. It provides a user-friendly interface for mission planning, real-time telemetry visualization, and flight control. The project is cross-platform, running on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, making it a versatile tool for drone operators.
