EchoSwap is a real-time energy marketplace where producers list available energy resources, and consumers can search, filter, and purchase them seamlessly.
EchoSwap is a real-time marketplace that joins energy producers and consumers, allowing sustainable energy resources to have smooth transactions. Built with Next.js (App Router) and Firebase, the platform gives every user a consistently fast, responsive experience; for instance, all producers can list energy resources like solar, wind, and gas, and all consumers can instantly browse and buy them.
Upon signing in, users always choose Producer or Consumer status through either Google Authentication or Email & Password options. Producers can add several listings, edit any listings, and delete each listing, including details such as the type, the quantity, the price, and the location. A live marketplace with search functionality lets consumers see available resources. The marketplace shows them in real-time. Listings appear without needing a page refresh, since Firebase Firestore guarantees updates happen very fast.
To provide a professional as well as intuitive UI experience, the platform incorporates many custom color palettes of deep purple, muted mauve, soft lilac, cool blue along with light mint green. Next.js increases how well things work; in addition, Tailwind CSS improves the look, and Firebase deals with signing in along with data. GitHub is used for collaboration and version control.
Future improvements include greatly improved transactions, useful user profiles, and also helpful analytics to track energy trends. EchoSwap makes energy trading simpler. It also enables sustainable energy that is more accessible and efficient.
