The project management system provides an automated solution for managing academic projects thereby increasing the efficiency and decreasing the complexity involved in the process. Two profiles namely admin and student are used in the project where each profile has its own tasks.the individual tasks of admin and student respectively.
Admin Functionality for Managing Projects:
• Progress Tracking: Admin can view real-time updates on project progress, monitor team activities, and ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
• Detailed Updates: Admin can access comprehensive reports on each project, including weekly progress, uploaded documents, and team activities.
• Scheduling events: Admin can schedule events like presentation, deadlines.
• Verify Student Details: Admin can view student details such as name, usn, section.
User Functionalities for Students:
• Team Creation: Students can create and manage their own project teams, inviting peers to collaborate on specific projects.
• Project Overview: Students have a clear view of their projects, including timelines, objectives, and assigned tasks.
• Task Management: Break down projects into manageable tasks, set deadlines, and track progress.
• Document Uploads: Students can upload reports, synopsis, presentations, and other relevant documents for each project phase.
• Weekly Progress Updates: Students can submit weekly progress reports, detailing their achievements, challenges, and plans for the coming week.
