The Tamil Font Maker is a Python-based tool designed for creating custom fonts from handwritten letters.
The TTF (TrueType Font) file serves as the foundational file for rendering fonts in design tools and document writing software. Our current plan involves creating a TTF specifically for Tamil fonts. To accomplish this, we begin by generating SVG images. Within our tool, we can convert PNG images to SVG and subsequently use these converted SVG images to produce the TTF file.
Goal:
The goal is to address the scarcity of free Unicode Tamil fonts in the digital realm, promoting accessibility and inclusivity by creating and distributing a freely available Unicode Tamil font.

Our proposed solution includes designing a comprehensive set of Tamil characters adhering to Unicode standards, ensuring compatibility across platforms. The font will be released under an open-source license, encouraging collaboration, extensive testing, and ongoing maintenance to meet the evolving needs of users.
