Our project, BookNook, is inspired by goodreads, where avid readers can join in and and add a review of the books, and enhance their reading lists according to their new reads. Though being the most commonly used platforms by book-lovers it has a basic outline and not many options to use. We are focusing on adding features like rating based on all the genre the book belongs to, adding a personalised shelf to keep track of the updates of all your reads and, also a graphical represesntation of all the tropes and genre the reader has interacted with. We are also introducing a goal tracker to encourage the users to inculcate a reading habbit and check their progress. They can create challenges for themselves and try to keep up with it using the reminder feature. This project can also be linked to the ISBN database for better access of books.
