I've been contributing to rust-lang/rust since December 2025, with 14 merged pull requests as of 28 October 2026 covering reproducible builds, bootstrap, compiler fixes and regression tests. I've also contributed to the cc-rs project. Replacement development laptop
One-time grant of INR 100,000 as partial support toward replacing my failing development laptop. The screen is damaged, it overheats and shuts down during compiler builds, and full storage interrupts my work, so I often limit rustc to one or two jobs. A reliable machine lets me keep contributing fixes and regression tests upstream, with progress in public PRs and a short quarterly update. The replacement costs more than this. I will disclose any other funding for the same need to FOSS United.
