This talk is about the background behind creating the Prav project. With so many XMPP services out there, why there was a need to create yet another app and service, which we call Prav? Why can we trust the people behind Prav to run a messaging service?

All these questions will be answered in this talk.

Ravi Dwivedi CEO | Prav

Ravi Dwivedi is a Free Software user and activist since 2020. He contributes to OpenStreetMap by mapping, packages for Debian and markets for LibreOffice. He has been a part of the Prav project since its inception in 2021. He is the CEO of the Prav Cooperative. Furthermore, he has worked in the project's outreach, website and server. He writes at ravidwivedi.in and toots on Mastodon with handle @ravi@toot.io.
