Appeal to Develop Open Source Components for Xsemble

Proposal status is Rejected
Session Description

Xsemble technology is used to create software applications by interconnecting components on a visual canvas. Xsemble components are defined specially so that they are independent and reusable. They can be created with Java, Python or PHP technologies.

The beauty of this technology is that the code that orchestrates among the components gets auto-generated from the visual model. This means that the coding effort is involved only at the component level.

The talk is an appeal to contribute Open Source components to the upcoming Xsemble ecosystem. These components could come from the interest area of the developers, and there is no restriction as long as they are ethical. These components would then get used in applications using Xsemble. We shall present to the developers how they can benefit doing so, especially at this early stage.

Key Takeaways
  1. Know-how about Xsemble technology

  2. Freedom to work on own interest area

  3. Opportunity to contribute to FOSS and demonstrate expertise in your interest area
