Introduce basic concepts of Debian release life cycle and tools to enable maintaining .deb packages in Debian. This talk will introduce the process of different versions/distributions of debian like stable, testing and unstable and how packages move from one to another.

There will be a packaging workshop after this talk for those who are interested in contributing to maintaining packages in Debian.
