This hands-on workshop is a beginner-friendly introduction to installing and getting started with Linux and FreeBSD. Participants will choose either a Linux distribution or FreeBSD and perform a guided installation inside a Virtual Machine or via dual-boot, based on their comfort level.
The session focuses on making attendees confident with the installation process and learning the essentials of navigating the system after first boot. By the end, participants will also get a practical introduction to filesystem structure and package management.
