Build AI-Powered Apps with AI-SDK

Building AI-powered apps doesn’t have to be complex or vendor-locked.

In this talk, we’ll explore the Vercel AI SDK, a free and open-source toolkit for TypeScript that makes it incredibly easy to build streaming, multi-provider AI chat applications.

We’ll see how a single, unified API lets you switch between LLM providers, stream responses in real time, and build modern chat UIs using familiar web frameworks. The session focuses on practical demos, clean abstractions, and how open-source tools can drastically reduce the time from idea to production.

Perfect for frontend engineers (using ai-elements), full-stack developers, and anyone curious about building AI products the open-source way.

Will also showcase a desktop app built using ai-sdk and is almost ready for initial release
