Session Description

Session Description:

In this session, we will explore the exciting world of Full-Stack Development, where we build both the front and back parts of web applications. I’ll share my experience and show you how to create websites that are both beautiful and functional.

We’ll cover:

  • Frontend Development: How to design the parts of a website that users interact with, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and tools like React.
  • Backend Development: The behind-the-scenes work that powers websites, including using tools like Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB to store data.
  • Putting It All Together: How to combine both frontend and backend to make a smooth, working web app.
  • Real-World Tips: Simple and useful advice from my own journey in Full-Stack Development.

If you’re new to Full-Stack Development or want to learn more, this session will help you understand the basics and give you useful tips to improve your skills.

Not a good topic. Too much to cover in a talk.

This doesn't highlight or promote a particular FOSS project or personal FOSS project. It's OK to give a tutorial like this but general CS education isn't the goal of FOSS United. Would be good to know if the speaker has contributed for any of these FOSS technologies. Would love to see a revised proposal that explicitly fulfills one of the categories outlined in https://forum.fossunited.org/t/talk-proposal-guidelines-for-a-foss-conference-meetup/1923
