Hi! this will be my very first talk and it will on FLOSS/Funds. FLOSS/fund is dedicated to supporting critical, impactful, and valuable Free and Open Source projects globally. It gives up to $1 million per year to support developers and communities that create and maintain projects, big and small. I would like to introduce you on an open source ecosystem thrives on collaborations, passion and shared purpose but it faces a persistent challenges like ensuring long-term sustainable funding. But countless critical open source software and projects are underfunded or invisible.
This session introduces https://fundingjson.org/ a community centric initiative by FOSS United and the FLOSS/fund team that addresses the fundamental problem of FOSS discoverability and funding transparency, which is inspired by XKCD is highlights how the world depends on obscure open-source projects maintained by a single unpaid developer.
We shall walk through the lessons learned from launching the platform, funding $325K+ to nine global projects, and how we shall build the pathways for long term financial support for free and open source software. If you’re a FOSS contributor, project maintainer, or just passionate about creating a more sustainable open-source ecosystem this session will equip you with the tools, knowledge, and networks to make it happen. With this structured funding model, transparent governance via JSON schemas, and plans for community-driven decision making, this session explores how we are solving the discoverability problem not just for the projects that deserve support.

I don't think the speaker is associated with the FLOSS fund. While it is good to have organic outreach, I think this is something that should come from someone from the team managing the fund itself.
Speaker will need to submit talks on subjects they are directly involved with.
