This session will discuss about the actual meaning of FOSS and what it stands for. Explaining the F in FOSS and how FOSS can also be used commercially. Exploring and resolving the various misconceptions with FOSS ideology.

We will also be mentioning how Open Sourced Software has promoted inclusivity of freshers and developers who're from a non-computer background. Diversifying the community. We will also be glossing over some extremely popular FOSS projects and how they have impacted us. We end the session with a discussion about how Big Tech Companies are involved in FOSS space.

Agreed with Arya, it does not have anything different. But, not sure how much does the audience in Kolkata understands FOSS and the FOSS Philosophy. If the speaker is provided with critical and feedback to improve the CFP then I think we can vouch for this. Some points I'd recommend covering is: 1. Case Studies 2. It'd be good if the whole talk is filled with examples proving the Philosophy 3. At the end, shouldn't only promote the idea of community, code needs more focus as code comes first and then the community
