What Can We Learn from South India's FOSS Community?

In this talk, I'll share the story of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) in Kerala and other South Indian states. I'll talk about the FOSS culture in colleges and cities, using my own experiences from studying at Cochin University from 2016 to 2020.

The main goal of this talk is to learn from South India's FOSS community and see how we can apply those lessons to build similar communities in Kolkata and other places.
