F**k You, Show Me The Code

This talk is inspired by one of fast.ai heroes blogpost - https://hamel.dev/blog/posts/prompt/ (Fuck You, Show Me The Prompt).

The inspiration to do this project was when seeing hesistancy of students, other fellow developers to make their cool projects open-source. Also myself, got the confidence to open-source even shitty code I write and build in public only after 7-8 years of starting coding. Sometimes I myself think how great it would have been if that projects where made open-source instead of loosing the source-code in my computer.

One common excuse I see is that folks telling me you should write clean code only in open-source. I am a big fan of writing clean code, yet I have my on opiniated way of doing stuff. That might not be clean code to some.

Also I still believe some of my best projects source like [Indic Subtitler](https://github.com/kurianbenoy/Indic-Subtitler) which was probably the first hosted public website which is even open-source is having shitty code. It's still on a way to be optimized and my other project [whisper_normalizer](https://github.com/kurianbenoy/whisper_normalizer) which has 4,20,000+ downloads is also not perfect.
