With more than 30 years of active development and still going strong, in this talk we'll discuss how you can use postgres for everything.

We'll cover :

  • a brief overview of postgres
  • extension ecosystem like postgis, timeseries, pgvector, citus etc
  • Example use cases for Postgres like AI, Maps, IOT and so on
  • Different flavors of postgres - Yugabyte, Supabase etc
  • Deployment options for postgres in VM, Docker and Kubernetes
