Beginner's Guide: Getting Started with Kubernetes-native CI/CD using Argo Stack

Proposal status is Rejected
Session Description

Experience a paradigm shift in Kubernetes deployments with the transformative power of the Argo projects. In this session, the speaker will talk about the seamless integration of the Argo tools such as Argo CD, Workflows, and Rollout to provide a unified platform for efficient software delivery on Kubernetes. The speaker will also demonstrate how the Argo stack simplifies declarative deployments, automates end-to-end pipelines, and enables progressive delivery strategies. Additionally, the speaker will showcase integrations with popular OSS cloud-native tools such as Grafana, Clair, Trivy, Casbin, NATS, Buildpacks, KEDA, Flagger, and Istio.

The talk will be focused on onboarding applications onto Kubernetes, free from the complexities of managing verticalized tools. Gain insights into the power of the Argo stack and its open-source integrations, empowering DevOps and Platform engineers to achieve reliable, scalable, and efficient Kubernetes-native CI/CD workflows.

Benefits to Ecosystem

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The session heavily focuses on streamlining the Kubernetes delivery workflow with the help of the Argo stack integrated with cloud-native tools. Currently, in the OSS community, most DevOps tools that are being used are isolated, and integration among these tools is sparse. The DevOps/SRE teams have to get acquainted with multiple tools and manage them. The talk will help attendees to solve this problem with an open-source solution that provides integration of verticalized tools and understand the feasibility of such solutions for DevOps engineers and Developers to collaborate and work together for better productivity.
