WTH are 🥹🫪💥 [👉emojis] anyway?

This talk is a shorter version of bangpypers/meetup-talks#98 with the Python specific parts stripped away.

I will speak [if the talk is selected] about Unicode, emojis, and text in general.

Text is something we interact with everyday, so I think it's important to have some appreciation for the underlying technology enabling it.

🙂‍↕️ might aptly capture the feeling you’ll have when you send your first emoji after the talk.

How text is represented, processed, exchanged in applications.

The answer to the title of the talk, hopefully.
