Using AI with K3s and Kubectl

Proposal status is Rejected
Session Description

Why write YAML when you can describe it? In this hands-on session, we bridge the gap between intent and infrastructure. We will leverage Gemini and kubectl-ai to provision a K3s cluster and deploy complex microservices using nothing but natural language.

What you’ll learn:

  • Natural Language Ops: Using kubectl-ai to generate and apply manifests on the fly.

  • AI-First Debugging: Integrating K8sGPT to identify and fix cluster "hallucinations" (misconfigurations) in real-time.

  • Lightweight Precision: Why K3s is the perfect playground for rapid AI prototyping.

  • Vibe-Check Your Cluster: Transitioning from "writing code" to "guiding agents" using the Agent Development Kit (ADK) for cluster maintenance.

Key Takeaways

Attendees will learn how to integrate AI in k3s and kubectl
