There are over 8000 programming languages in the world, and every passionate programmer wants to invent their own. So in this talk we will cover the latest programming language, which has been around us for a while: English. This talk explores the meteoric rise of natural language as the new interface for software development, powered by large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and no-code platforms. We'll unpack how English (and yes, your everyday, typo-riddled English) is transforming requirements, test cases, data queries, and even code generation itself.
We’ll also discuss what this means for the next generation of developers, product managers, and testers, and debate: If everyone can program in English, is the age of "coding" over or just beginning?
Bring your best dad jokes (Ill bring mine), and an open mind, as this session might prompt (pun intended) some tough questions.
Is English the New Python? How everyday language is rapidly becoming the go-to interface for developers, testers, and product managers alike.
Prompt Engineering Isn’t a Joke: Asking precise questions is now the critical skill separating good engineers from exceptional ones.
Why coding programming still holds a crucial role in the world of agentic devs.
Which programming languages seem to be holding strong today and ready for tomorrow
This may be an interesting mental experiment. We are still unsure of how much we want our conference to focus on AI, we are adjusting just like the rest of the industry😅
