Building A Private Cloud

Approved
Session Description

This presentation provides an in-depth guide to building a private cloud using Open Stack. It begins with an overview of private cloud infrastructure, emphasizing its exclusive use by a single organization. The discussion includes various ownership and management models, highlighting that a private cloud can be managed internally, by a third party, or a combination of both, and can exist on-premises or off-premises.

The presentation then focuses on cloud operating systems, particularly Open Stack. Open Stack is an open-source platform designed to manage compute, storage, and networking resources in a data center via a dashboard or API.

There are no references or rough outline provided in the CFP. Not sure if we should go ahead

The CFP seems AI gen, but then OpenStack is a great product/spec. I think in contrast to other talks ( which are really bad), this is ok.

Need more details from the author. OpenStack is a good piece of OSS and a talk about that would be nice.
