RTE - MIS a Digital Public Good

Proposal status is Rejected
Session Description

The RTE MIS DPG is an open-source version of its technology product to support the implementation of RTE 12(1)(c) in states. This product has been developed to actualise the NCPCR guidelines and various court directions on the RTE Act. The platform's development is also informed by our learnings through extensive interventions across 14 states in the last decade. It is designed to facilitate the efficient and transparent admission of children from economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups into private unaided schools, ensuring they receive their rightful 25% reserved seats. Through its interventions, Indus Action has enabled over 1 million children to access admissions in private unaided schools under the Right to Education Act.
