Open Source thrives on openness, collaboration, and freedom & yet much of today’s OSS ecosystem depends heavily on proprietary platforms like GitHub. As developer infrastructure becomes increasingly centralized, decentralized alternatives are yet to be adapted.
Among the Open Source alternatives, Forgejo is a lightweight Git based collaboration platform. It can be self-hosted in minutes, easy to adapt, and reclaims ownership to the community.
