ONLYOFFICE - A FOSS alternative to Microsoft Office

Approved
Session Description

I'm seeking a booth to demo ONLYOFFICE, a free and open-source office suite.

Disclaimer: I'm associated with ONLYOFFICE.

For most people, Microsoft Office is the one thing keeping them from going fully open-source. It's what they know. It's what their office runs on. So switching feels like a hassle, even if they want to.

That's the gap I want to talk about at this booth.

I'll set up a couple of laptops and run a live demo. People can walk up, try it themselves, and see how it handles documents, spreadsheets, and slides. It works a lot like what they're already used to, so there's not much of a learning curve. I'll also have handouts, quizes, and gifts.

The point isn't to sell anything. It's to show people that an easy-to-use alternative already exists for Microsoft Office that even people who are not tech-saavy can use.
