Deep-Tech Software : Beyond Intellectual Property

Session Description

This talk is about what deep-tech software entails with examples, from my experiences and learnings from being an investor in AI and data infra startups, and seeks to give an alternative viewpoint to the audience that deep-tech software goes beyond just intellectual property alone. One of the takeaways from the talk is why software patents don't help determine deep-tech software, and why among many other reasons software patents aren't effective at all.
