Highlights from FOSS United:
Wondering what's happening in FOSS United? Here are a few updates from our side:
- Student and General tickets are now available. Book your tickets now for IndiaFOSS 2024 so you don't miss the opportunity to attend the biggest Free and Open Source Conference in India. It costs us 2,500 Rupees per attendee to organize the IndiaFOSS conference. If you are interested in supporting us, please consider buying the Contributor ticket for 2,500 Rupees.
FOSS Hack ’24 is round the corner happening on 27th-28th July:
- We have about 10+ local editions happening across the country. Check them out and see if there is a local edition in your city.
- Registrations for FOSS Hack will be opening this week. Stay tuned to website for updates. for updates.
- This edition, we have a revamped Partner Projects Programme, with a curated list of projects providing issues to work on and contribute to. A 15-day prep period is available for resolving queries and other support from the projects. Learn more.
The FOSS Community Kochi hosted their first-year anniversary meetup at KeyValue Software Systems. Interesting discussions sprung up after each speaker session by Ajai Sunny Joseph, Abhay Vishnu, and Athul Cyriac Ajay. Kudos on achieving this milestone and many more to come! The FOSS United Bangalore May Meetup, held on May 25th, was a special celebration marking its second anniversary with the theme "FOSS For Everyone." The meetup featured three distinguished speakers Balu Babu, Dhananjay Ramkrishnappa, and Udayraj Deshmukh. The event concluded with an engaging panel discussion on "FOSS and Public Policy: Why Should We Care?" featuring Shree Kumar, Sai Krishna Dammapalati, Anwesha Sen, Jayasri Vaidyaraman, and Sai Rahul Poruri. Kudos to the Bangalore team for their dedication and exceptional efforts in organizing this vibrant and impactful event.
